Every two weeks on Saturday mornings May 11th through October 31st at 9am to cultivate community and practice yoga together. The healing power of sound has been an integral part of human civilization for thousands of years. We live in a Vibratory Universe where there is no such thing as solid matter. Everything we sense, feel, see, and touch is pure Energy. The matter we can detect is made up of tiny, denser bits of energy called vibrating particles.

The healing power of sound has been an integral part of human civilization for thousands of years. We live in a Vibratory Universe. Everything we sense, feel, see, and touch is pure Energy. The matter we can detect is made up of tiny, denser bits of energy called vibrating particles. The basic principle of Sound Healing is the concept of resonance (the vibratory frequency of an object). The entire Universe is in a state of vibration. This includes human beings. Every organ, cell, bone, tissue, liquid of the body, and electromagnetic fields which surround the body, has a vibratory frequency. Sound Healing is the application of specific frequencies to the physical and subtle energy fields around the body. These therapeutic frequencies and sounds are delivered via the voice of the practitioner, tuning forks, Tibetan singing bowls, quartz crystal bowls, as well as those from more Shamanic Sound Healing traditions such as the didgeridoo, drums, Native flutes, rattles, etc. This is a pay what you can class. Supported by the ancient forests, extended periods of darkness, magical 3.5 hours of twilight , the Northern Lights, and of course daily yoga asana and yoga nidra, we will Align with our true essence AND play in the snow! Yoga for the Puppies: Richmond Ruff House Yoga Fundraiser

We are excited to announce that Yoga for the Puppies is back!!! This is a fundraising yoga event supporting Richmond Ruff House Dog Rescue. Billie Carroll will offer Yoga for the Puppies and start your weekend on a gentle note. Open the body, deepen the breath, and bring a soft focus to your mind. Learn breath work, poses and meditations to help you feel at ease in your own yoga practice. ALL levels of experience or non experience are welcome. Great for newcomers to the practice. Many modifications offered for poses. p.s. There will be puppies so prepare yourself for cuteness overload! Proceeds will be donated to Richmond Ruff House dog rescue a 501(c)(3) all volunteer, non profit organization located in Richmond, VA. $35
